Bootleg Warning: Nendoroid Snow Miku: Magical Snow Ver. (Good Smile Company) – B Type

There are currently bootleg versions of Good Smile Company’s figures being sold on online auction and marketplace websites.
These bootleg figures are made illegally based off the original versions without permission from Good Smile Company, and hence we unfortunately cannot offer any support for these bootleg figures. There are also many cases where these bootleg figures still feature the official logos of Good Smile Company or the companies we distribute for, however these logos are also not used with any permission. Always take care when buying goods online.

Below is one example of a bootleg figure, please note that is is only one possibility. You should always be on the look out for anything suspicious. Also note that there can be bootlegs of various figures, not just the examples shown on this website.

Hat: Snowflake and Tip
The snowflake on the official product is painted, while it is uncolored on the bootleg version. The tip of the hat on the bootleg version is also not articulated, while the official version is.
Head: Twintail Joints
The joints on the official product can be completely removed, but they are attached to the head part on the bootleg version.
Magical Circle Effect Part
The official product is made from a soft PET sheet, but it is made from a hard ABS material on the bootleg version. The bootleg version also has tabs to stand the figure on.
Feet: Soles
The bootleg product has holes to stand the figure. The official product does not.
Rabbit Yukine: Neck Joint
The joint on the official version is transparent. The bootleg version is painted the same color as the figure.
Expression Joint
The neck joint on the official product has a round connector. The bootleg version is pentagonal.
Packaging: Box
The packaging design differs completely.
Package: Underside
The bootleg product’s handling intructions and product name are incorrect.
Optional Parts
The bootleg version includes optional parts that are not included with the official product.
